Today's
Sunday Secrets comes from Karen of Cobble Hill, BC
She
asks about printing.
Her
question is
"How
do you print a photo so it is larger than one sheet of paper of 8.5x11?”
That
is a good question.
I
am sure there are many ways to do this such as just going to your local copy
center and asking them to print it larger.
However,
I will tell you how I do it.
First
of all, I will enlarge my photo in Photoshop to the size that I want it.
Photoshop
Elements is a smaller version of Photoshop and is much less expensive.
It
works just as well for basic photo editing.
Once
my photo is the size that I want,
(say,
14x21" to fit a half sheet of watercolor paper),
I
then divide it into sections to fit within the 8.5x11" paper it will be
printed on.
(so
for a 14x21" photo, it is divided into 4 sections of 7x10.5" each)
This
is done with the guidelines from the rulers.
I
will then copy and paste each section into a separate image and print.
Once
printed, I match up the paper, tape, and transfer.
