Today's
Sunday Secrets question comes from Sam from
She asks, "How do you get the diffused light spots in your backgrounds?"
There
are a couple of ways to do this.
The
first is to work wet-in-wet and while the paint is drying, to drop in some
water.
The
drop of water will push the pigment out as it dries further, leaving behind the
white of the paper.
The
other way is to go back after it has dried with a scrub brush.
You
will then softly scrub the area with some water.
Be
sure to keep a tissue handy while doing this.
It
is best to keep using clean water and to sop up the dirty water with the tissue
as you try to lighten the paint.
