That little twinkle in the eye adds a little something extra special to a portrait.
You
may think that you need to mask it out or paint around it when painting the
eyes.
There
is no need to do so.
Go
ahead and paint the eye without the highlight.
Then
take that handy dandy x-acto knife when it is dry and flick or
scratch out the highlight.
