The drybrush technique is a wonderful way to create texture.
To
do this, make sure there is not much water in your brush.
More
paint than water.
The
paint can even be diluted with water so it is pale but there should not be much
water in the brush.
Then
gently drag it across the surface of your paper.
This
is best done with cold press or rough paper.
What
is left behind is a lovely texture where the white of the paper or another
color shows through.
