Erasing Small Areas and Fine Lines

This entry was originally posted on Monday,  November 26, 2012

Sometimes when trying to lift a small area, you might scrub away just a little too much.

To avoid doing this, use packing tape around the area.

You can cut out the shape you want lifted and lay the tape over it.

Then use a sea sponge or magic eraser to lift the area.

This technique also works well when try to clean up or create a line.

Just make sure the tape is completely pressed down to avoid any water seeping underneath it.

The Attic Room

The beams in the ceiling were lifted after I painted the background black by using this method.
