The Rain in
7x10"
In
previous posts, I have talked about using a soft scrub brush to lift color.
This
can be an older synthetic brush with a harder tip than the brush you paint
with.
The
soft scrub brush will not only lift color, it will also soften lines and edges.
For
instance, I use this brush when making clouds; softening the edges and making
them appear fluffy.
Lifting
color with the scrub brush is also another way to fix a painting.
You
can remove a small area by gently scrubbing the color away.
However,
it is easier to lift opaque colors than staining, transparent colors.
